Artistically Beautful for #GDP084

Today I am participating in the Global Design Project CASE Challenge #GDP084.  This week's challenge is to CASE the AMAZING Michelle Last.  Remember that when you CASE a project you can Copy And Selectively Edit - so take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the flowers, whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.  Here is the project this week that you can CASE.
I decide to case the layout of Michelle's card using the Artistically Asian stamp set from Stampin' Up!  This is a fun stamp set to use and makes beautiful cards when you use the various floral branches.

I also created the inside of the card as well.  The background design series paper comes from the Color Theory Designer Series paper stack that I was able to pre-order when I attended the Stampin' Up! OnStage in Minneapolis.
I took the sentiment and stamped it once and punched out the top line using the Classic Label Punch for the front of the card.  Then I masked the top line with a piece of paper and then stamped the rest of the sentiment for the inside of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Enjoy some creative time this week :)

Happy Mail Monday!

I receive awesome cards from my stamping friends each week and I have started to call it Happy Mail Monday!  I cannot tell you how exciting it is to open each and every card :) I love sharing these cards with you all and am grateful to be a card worthy recipient.
This first card came from a beautiful member of my Stamping Serenity team, Maria!

This card came from a stamping friend named Ellen and is made using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set bundle.
I love how she not only made the card, but also decorated the envelope.
This card comes from my dear Grandma who lives in Florida and just turned 92.  I love getting notes in the mail from her.
This one comes from one of the best stampers I know and a dear friend, Annette...check out more of her creations on her blog HERE.
The last card is so pretty with the Grateful Bunch stamp set and matching Blossom Bunch Punch and comes from my stamping friend Margaret.

Thanks for stopping by today :)

Flash Back Friday!!!

Add sparkle to your projects without the mess. The Wink of Stella Glitter Brush is perfect for writing and adding subtle controlled glitter to stamped images. Watch this video to learn how you can easily add sparkle to your projects.
Let me tell you how much I love the wink of stella, it adds that little extra bling to your projects.  Here is a Flash Back Friday card that I made years ago with one of my favorite retired stamp sets that could have definitely used some added wink of stella.  Think of all the cards and projects that need that added glimmer touch.

Ribbon of Courage for #GDP083

This project is following the Global Design Project Theme Challenge #GDP083.  I love bling and this card is definitely the blingiest!  Thanks for checking out my card today...now, head over to the Global Design Project and play along with the theme challenge.
I was one of the lucky recipients of what is called "Prize Patrol" when I attended the Stampin' Up! OnStage and I won the brand new stamp set called Ribbon of Courage.  It was designed by Patty Bennett one of the newest Stampin' Up! million dollar sales achievers and will be available in the new upcoming Annual Catalog.
I even blinged out the inside of the card as well.  The background design series paper comes from the Fresh Florals Designer Series paper stack and the sentiment is punched out using the brand new Pretty Label Punch.
I learned a new technique at onstage from one of the presenters who was working with the Ribbon of Courage stamp set.  If you ink your stamp in versamark and then ink it in the stamp pad color, you can add clear embossing powder to it and then heat emboss it for a shiny, sleek embossed look in any color ink that you have.  Now how fun is that?

Believe me, I was like a kid in a candy store yesterday trying out all of the 2017-2019 In Colors with this technique.  The hearts above are heat embossing and I tried to get a good close up to show you just how shiny they turn out.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Enjoy some creative time this week :)

Thailand Achievers April Blog Hop

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for April 2017.  This month our theme is the "Onstage April 2017". Onstage is an event held for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators only. We get to see, feel and play with the brand new products that are coming up.
This event was based on the brand new Annual Catalog and we are so excited about it.  We want to show you some of the highlights of this event and hope that you can join us and other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the future.  Just another reason to join as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, even if you aren't interested in selling.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity .
Today's project is made using the brand new Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern  Medallions Thinlits Dies.  You can purchase this bundle on a special pre-release from Stampin' Up! beginning May 1!  I love how rich the colors in this suite are and how beautiful the dies cut and work together with the stamp set.
This is an easel card as you can see from the side profile, these cards are always fun to make and give you a little different look to your project.  I love how the teeny tiny stamps work together with the die cuts.  I gold embossed the little flourishes that I stamped on the Tranquil Tide die cut.

I added some teeny tiny pearls to the square flourishes stamps on the Very Vanilla die cut and then I added some larger pearls to the center rings of the tassels...so much fun!  I got the idea for the tassels with the gold embossed paper from Cathy Caines on Pinterest.
