Have A Cuppa for PPA289

Today I used A Nice Cuppa stamp set and the Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies for this tea'riffic card!  How much fun is this stamp set bundle?
The sentiment is punched out using the Festive Flower Builder Punch, how cute is this layered over the night of navy...it kind of reminds me of a tea leaf.  I added some night of navy seam binding and whisper white bakers twine as well.  I also used some dimensionals to give it that nice pop too.

What a fun color challenge from the Pals Paper Arts this week...check out all of the projects or play along!

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop FEBRUARY 2016 - One For The Guys!

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for February. This month our theme is "One For The Guys". We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski at Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski at Stamping Serenity.
For this card I used the Going Global stamp set along with the World Traveler Textured Embossing Folder, both from Stampin' Up!  First I ran a piece of delightful dijon through my big shot using the embossing folder, then I added a piece of going places design series paper on top of the delightful dijon piece.  I used a clear window piece from the memories in the making project life card collection and layered it over a piece of mossy meadow and a piece of whisper white that I stamped the big dipper and stars using delightful dijon.  The sentiment  is also stamped in delightful Dijon and was cut out using the large numbers framelits dies.  I layered the sentiment over a piece of going places dsp and popped it up using dimensionals.  I added a bit of the wink of stella to the star in the center of the sentiment and a few metallic sequin stars using my glue pen and voila'! a wonderful masculine card for that guy you can't live without!

Speaking of living without, make sure to get all of your 2014-2016 In Colors before they retire this year.  I will definitely be missing my mossy meadow, it is one of my favorite colors.  Check out all of the fun products below.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at Jennifer Michalski at Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Up, Up, And Away!

This was a fun card to come up with!  I followed the Mojo Monday 435 Sketch and the Global Design Project Balloon Theme Challenge for this project.
The cherry on top designer series paper pack was the perfect thing for this festive birthday card.  The colors are cucumber crush, watermelon wonder, bermuda bay and crushed curry.  I embossed the watermelon wonder square in the middle with the softly falling embossing folder and punched the balloon from the cherry on top ds paper with the balloon bouquet punch.  The birthday sentiment comes from the sky is the limit stamp set and is cut out using the tags and labels framelits.  I popped up the two balloon panels with some dimensionals and finished the balloon with some whisper white bakers twine.  I also added some wink of stella to the balloon for that party shimmer!
Here is a close up of the shimmer on the balloon.
I am in love with the wink of stella, it is one of my must have items :)

This color trio worked so well for this card, I also used the circles collection framelits and added some rhinestones for that added bling.

Friends Are Bloomin' Lovely!

How precious is this fun treat box holder that I received from my pal Paula Butler at the Gathering For Greatness weekend away in Phoenix, AZ?  She used the Bloomin' Love photopolymer Stamp set and melon mambo card stock to hold the tic tacs.

We enjoyed some great presentations and wonderful conversations with our fellow pals and demonstrators.

Botanicals for Pals Paper Arts 286

I am getting ready to head out to Phoenix for the Gathering For Greatness retreat this weekend with my upline from InkBig Academy Lisa Pretto.  I cannot wait to get inspired and share that inspiration with all of you :)

For today's card I was inspired by the sketch over at the Pals Paper Arts 286 Sketch Challenge from my pal Linda Callahan.  So be prepared for bling, bling and more bling!
I used tempting turquoise card stock and the shine on specialty design series paper.  The sentiment is stamped in versa mark and embossed with the heat tool using silver embossing powder.  I used the botanicals for you stamp set that you can earn for FREE with your $50 or more purchase from Stampin' Up!  Make sure to get all of your favorite FREE Sale-a-bration stamp sets before they retire on March 31.  I added some rhinestones and some silver glimmer ribbon for more bling!  I also decorated the inside of the card to match the outside...
For the inside sentiment I also used the botanicals for you stamp set and added some shine on ds paper to keep the bling factor going on the inside too.

Here is the Pals Paper Arts 286 Sketch, head on over and check out all of the projects or play along.

Pedal Pushing Mojo Monday!

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator we are able to preorder some of the stamp sets.  Today I got the stamp set Pedal Pusher that you can earn for FREE with your $50 Stampin' Up! order beginning February 16.  It is such a fun stamp set, you can stamp the bicycle and then add the basket with flowers, hearts, birds, etc.  I played along with the Mojo Monday 433 sketch for this card.
I used crumb cake and elegant eggplant card stock along with elegant eggplant design series paper from the regals ds paper stack.  The elegant eggplant background is embossed with the happy hearts folder.  I stamped the bicycle with crumb cake and then stamped the birds and the sentiment in elegant eggplant.  I gave the little birdies some sparkle with the clear wink of stella.  Which you can see much better on this close up below.
It really gives your project that extra sparkle!  Check out all of the wonderful Mojo Monday projects or play along with the sketch from Julee.

Honeycomb Happiness! #GDP021

Hi my crafty friends!  I haven't been able to get into my craft studio the last few days as my dad has been in and out of the hospital with some health issues.  He is doing well and is on the mend :)  I am so thankful to all of my friends and family who lifted him up in prayer so his healing can begin.

This card was a breeze to make with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Honeycomb Happiness that you can earn for FREE with your $50 order from Stampin' Up!  I played along with the Global Design Project 021 Color Challenge that came from one of my pals...Brian King. These colors inspire a lot of creative thinking, but work together wonderfully when you use the Have A Cuppa Design Series Paper Stack (140567).  Here is what I came up with.
For this project I also used the balloon bouquet punch, large oval and scallop oval punches, blushing bride glimmer paper, and bermuda bay sequin trim.  I sponged melon mambo along the edges of the have a cuppa ds paper balloons and used the modern mosaic embossing folder for the background piece of wisteria wonder.  This card turned out so sweet!  Head on over to the Global Design Project and check out all of the fabulous projects or play along.
Here are all the Stampin' Up! supplies I used for this card.
