Happy Mail Monday!

It's Happy Mail Monday!  I love sharing with you the beautiful cards I receive each week.  I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to open my mailbox and see these hand made cards.  I love reading each one.  Thanks for stopping by today :)
I have another special card that I want to share with you.  This is the very first card I ever made.  It was at a Stampin' Up! club and I was super intimidated to be making a card, much less one this detailed.  None the less, I think it turned out okay and I cannot tell you how thankful I am that I found this wonderful hobby.  I truly am grateful to be able to share the joy of stamping with all of you.

Coffee Cafe' for #GDP096

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP096This week we are CASEing a gorgeous project by Tanja Kolar, an oh-so-talented member of the Global Design Team. Here is the project this week that you can CASE:
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the flowers, whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own. To play along, head over to the Global Design Project and see what the design team came up with this week.
I chose to case the layout of Tanya's card using the Coffee CafĂ© stamp set and coordinating Coffee Cups Framelits.  This was one of my absolute favorite items in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog!!!   I love how the coffee cups in the Coffee Break DS Paper cut out perfectly using the framelits dies.
This embossing folder in the background was a gift I received from someone who happens to know how much I love all things coffee.  It turned out so cute as the white on white background of this card.  It definitely makes me want to make a Starbucks run :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for this card.

Carols of Christmas for #tttc006

Today I played along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  Make sure to head over and play along!  For this challenge, the board was created by Design Team Member Shannon Fralish.  Take some inspiration from the challenge board below, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what you are challenged you to create!
I chose the diagonal line across the board using the shadow, fuzzy, and wood grain trio.  The background edge was die cut in Smoky Slate using the new Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies that are on a special pre-order for demonstrators only in July, but will be available for everyone to pre-order on August 1.
The background die cut shadows over the Bermuda Bay card stock base.  I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay onto a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Wood Textures paper stack and then I embossed this piece with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
I used the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies for the background trees that were cut out using the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  The trees look like they are covered in snow this way.  Then I added a few Pool Party Sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment along with two Enamel Shape stars to the background border.  Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Check out the Carols of Christmas Bundle HERE
Available August 1!!!

Just Add Color for #GDP095

I am loving the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP095 this weekThis week we are going to have a blast with the theme of Kids!  What comes to your mind when you think of this theme?
We TOTALLY can't wait to see what you come up with.  To play along, head over to the Global Design Project and see what the design team came up with this week.
I used one of my favorite design series paper stacks from Stampin' Up! called Just Add Color for this fun interactive card.  I made it for a little boy whose birthday is coming up the end of July.  He will love pulling out the four little coloring pages and being able to keep them inside his "card".
The Circle Tab Punch made it super easy to create little handles to slide each piece in and out of the plastic sleeves.  The Happy Birthday is a die cut from the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die from Stampin' Up!.
This was such a fun Kids Project to make.  Here is a picture and a list of all the supplies to make this interactive card.
  • Card Base: 6 inch by 12 inch card stock, scored at 6 inches
  • Two pieces of ribbon 24 inches each
  • Four punched circle tabs
  • One Die Cut Happy Birthday Thinlits
  • Four 4-3/4 inch by 4 inch pieces of Just Add Color Design Series Paper
  • Four 4-1/4 inch by 5-1/2 inch pieces of card stock
  • One piece of 5 inch by 5 inch ds paper for front of card
  • One piece of 5-1/2 inch by 5-1/2 inch card stock for front of card
  • Four clear plastic envelopes 4-1/2 inch by 7-1/4 to flap end, then cut to 5-1/2 inches on non flap end
  • Tear and Tape Adhesive
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to treat yourself to Bonus Days: for every $50 you spend in July, you’ll get a $5 Bonus Days coupon that you can use in August.  There is no limit to how many coupons you can earn, start shopping HERE

Pals July Blog Hop

Welcome to the July 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re having a Pattern Party! Hoppers will feature projects using their favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper and coordinating embellishments. After all, color coordination is a Stampin’ Up! Strength.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
So, when I think Pick a Pattern, what better way to use your washi tape then to make your own patterned design series paper?  I took a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and then used my washi tapes to design the pattern and colors I wanted to use.  One of my favorite colors is Bermuda Bay.  I mixed it with Lemon Lime, Basic Black, and Flirty Flamingo and it turned out very bright and cheery!
It is super easy to make your own washi dsp.  And the best part is it is so much fun!  Here is a picture of the back side of the paper to give you an idea of how it works.  I started from the center of my cardstock diagonally and worked my way out on each side.
The sentiment on this card comes from the Label Me Pretty stamp set.  I layered it over a Bermuda Bay Oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits, then punched out a Pretty Label, then used my Layering Circles and Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Add a few rhinestones and a little lemon lime twist ombre ribbon and voila', it's a pattern party!

Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on August 9, 2017 when our projects will feature “cuts” from punches, dies, framelits, edgelits, or thinlits. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. See you on August 9th!
