For this card I used the Rose Wonder stamp set along with the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies, both from Stampin' Up! First I ran the large rose die through my big shot using black glimmer paper, then I ran a piece of real red card stock through my vintage wallpaper embossing folder (retired) for added texture behind the black rose. Then I used my fine tip glue pen to adhere the delicate rose to the real red cardstock. The sentiment stamped so nice and perfectly using versa mark and then I added black embossing powder with my heat tool. I punched out the sentiment with the scallop oval punch and layered it over the frame die from the rose garden thinlits dies using a few dimensionals. Black and red are two of my favorite colors to put together, they were my wedding colors more than 20 years ago and they still remind me of love today! Red roses are one of my favorites! Check out all of the fun products below.
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at Jennifer Michalski at Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.
