High Tide for #GDP151

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP151.  They are hoping that by playing this week you will get a sun-kissed tan - but there's no promises!  We suggest just close your eyes and imagine you can hear the waves crashing, the smell of fresh sea air and feel the ocean breeze blowing in your hair....and maybe this will inspire you for the theme this week!
For this sketch challenge I used the stamp set called High Tide.  This was a fun stamping project, I used a lot of different ink colors to get the look and effect that I wanted with this stamp set.  I love the beachy feel of this card...I can almost hear the sound of the ocean and the birds chirping happily on the sand!
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share the joy of stamping with you.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for today's project:

Flourish Filigree - Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

As soon as I saw this stamp set in the upcoming Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up! I knew it was a must have for me.  I love how it can not only be a Holiday stamp set, but also double as an awesome thank you set too :)
I used some of the Garden Impressions design series paper and the Springtime Impressions thinlits to make these fun cards.  The sentiment is layered using the layering ovals framelits.
The inside is decorated as well.  I punched out the sentiment using the Pretty Label Punch.  The colors are Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

August Pals Blog Hop - Cut It Out!

Welcome to the Pals August, 2018 Blog Hop. Today we are “Cutting It Out”.  We love to "cut it out" so this month our creations feature our favorite “cuts” using punches, Framelits and Thinlits from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog.  You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
This was such a fun project that I didn't even know I was going to make until I had all of the Eastern Medallions dies sitting out on the table.  I used the Tea Room Specialty Design Series Paper and that is how I decided on my color palette of Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla.
I ran the card base through the big shot with the thinlits, then once I had all of the "cut outs" that I wanted on the front of the card I ran just the front piece of the card through the big shot with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I added the sentiment and some Glitter Enamel  Dots as well.
Then I added a piece of the Tea Room DS paper to the inside of the card front, it's kind of cool that you can see both sides of the ds paper design this way.  I even decorated the inside of the card with an added sentiment :)
Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have created to inspire you.  Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.  Mark your calendar for September 12 for the next Pals Blog Hop. We’ll inspire you with projects for the upcoming holidays and seasons including Autumn, Winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas.  Don’t miss the fun.

http://www.craftykylie.com/2017/07/kylies-international-blog-highlights.html
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I am joining a group that is being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project.
http://www.craftykylie.com/2017/07/kylies-international-blog-highlights.html
Our theme this month is Teachers Gifts!  It's good to be organised right?? Time to think about teachers gifts! Even if you don't have little ones at school it is great to think of how you can inspire others and maybe give it to a friend or neighbor so they can give it to their child's teacher. It is all about helping others to see the power in a gift or thoughtful card.
I used the stamp set called Coffee Cafe' for todays project along with the Coffee Cups Framelits.  I love the variety of all things coffee in this stamp set.  Here are all of the pieces and measurements that you need to make this cool coffee cup treat holder:
  • First I die cut all of my pieces and then cut and scored the additional pieces all shown above.
  • Then I added the extra embellishments like ribbon, washi tape, sentiment, ds paper and the drink stopper.
  • Finally I assembles everything together for this fun treat holder.
Make sure you have tear tape on hand to finish the assembly of this little gift.  I added a few dove chocolates for a yummy treat.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie's blog to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.  Here are all of the products I used for this card:

International Highlights Top 10 Winners Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting my blog on this very special Blog Hop day with the continuing theme of “Travel.” I was invited to participate in this month's hop by finishing in the top 10 of the July 2018 International Highlights with my All Good Things card.  I really appreciate everyone who took the time to vote and let me share the joy of stamping.
For this project I used the Memories and More card pack called Big Plans!!!  This is great for making a bunch of quick and easy cards to have on hand when you need them.  Card pack includes 50 double-sided cards in 3" x 4" and 4" x 6" sizes along with 6 single-sided silver foil specialty cards in 3" x 4" size and 4 sticker sheets.
Coordinating colors: Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Gray Granite, Pineapple Punch, Whisper White.  I begin by laying out all of the cards to coordinate the sentiments with the backgrounds that I want to put on card fronts.
With the summer time, people are usually taking vacations and traveling which doesn't leave a lot of time for crafting when you need a card quickly for that special occasion.  These Memories and More cards are so fun and can make lots and lots of cards.  I ended up getting 38 cards made in one afternoon.
Now, continue hopping, so you won’t miss any of the creative projects. I know there will be lots of wonderful cards and projects so hop along so you can see who is next on the list below.
