May 2020 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our May Maui Achievers blog hop. Those hopping today are Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive trip. We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up!® products. I live in Minnesota in the US and would love to help you if you have any questions.
For today's card I used a few items that will be carrying over into the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  The Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The background design series paper is embossed using the new Ornate Flower 3D Embossing Folder that will also be featured in the new annual catalog.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy all of the projects in our hop today.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the fun. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity.  Our hop theme in March is "Current Products"!

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss.  Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next.

Stampin' Pretty Pals May Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Pals Blog Hop! This month our theme is “Goodbye to January-June Mini and 2019-2020 Annual Catalogs and Hello to 2020-2021 Annual Catalog” where the Design Team is showcasing their favorites from the retiring catalogs or products in the new catalog! You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
For this card I used a variety of retiring and carrying over products from Stampin' Up!.  Here is the card Recipe:
  • Whisper White Card Base cut to 8-1/2" by 4-1/4"
  • Basic Black card stock layer cut to 4" by 5-1/4"
  • Parisian Blossoms DSP layer cut to 3-3/4" by 5"
  • Parisian Blossoms DSP layer cut to 4" by 1"
  • Basic Black 3/8" Scallop Edge Ribbon
  • 1-1/4" Circle Punch - Champagne Foil Sheet
  • 1-1/8" Scallop Circle Punch - Sentiment on Whisper White
  • Timeless Tropical Stamp Set
  • Petal Pink Classic Stamp Pad
  • Butterfly Beauty Dies - Cut in Basic Black card stock
  • Tuxedo Black Ink Pad
For the sentiment I stamped a flower from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in petal pink ink onto whisper white card stock and then stamped the sentiment "Hello" in Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I punched it out using the 1-1/8" scallop circle punch.  It is hard to see in the picture, but this ds paper really shines!
I am sad to see these smaller circle punches being retired as I use them quite often for quick sentiments and layers.  The Parisian Blossoms DSP was one of my favorites from the mini catalog that is also retiring.  Luckily the Butterfly Beauty Dies and the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set are both carrying over into the new Annual Catalog!

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for June 10th, with our theme “New 2020-2022 In Colors.” We can’t wait to show you the newest In Colors in the Stampin’ Up! color family. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

Many these days forget those simple words - Thank you. Show your appreciation to people in your lives who have inspired you, helped you, supported you by sending them a thank you card or project.
For this fun card I used the In The Tropics Stamp Set and dies.  I love the fun feel of this card.  It can be a great way to thank someone who has helped you out.  The Bermuda Bay card stock along with the Follow Your Art Design series paper match so nicely.  I stamped the flowers and the sentiment onto a piece of the follow your art ds paper and then dies cut and punched it out.  I added a swoosh of the clear wink of stella to each of the flowers for added sparkle.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie's blog to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.
