Happy Mail Monday!

It's Happy Mail Day!  I feel so blessed to be able to share such beautiful cards and projects that I receive in the mail each week from various stamping friends. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do :)
It was Caleb's 1st birthday this last week and a lot of the cards were for his birthday!  He enjoyed a little get together with his grandparents.

August 2020 Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our August Maui Achievers blog hop. Those hopping today are Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive trip. We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up!® products. I live in Minnesota in the US and would love to help you if you have any questions.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the fun. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity.  Our hop theme is "Current Products"!
For this card I used the rectangle postage label punch and punched out the Flowers For Every Season ds paper, then I trimmed the ends a bit more with the punch to make the rectangles smaller.  That way I could layer the misty moonlight card stock behind to give the rectangles some dimension.  The sentiment comes from the Timeless Tropical stamp set and is punched out using the classic label punch.  I added a few gold glimmer dots for a finishing touch on this fun and simple card.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss.  Remember that currently you are at my blog: Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next.

Stampin' Pretty Pals August Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “My Happiest Season.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
One of my favorite seasons is Christmas!  I love the crisp winter air and the first pretty white snowflakes, but most of all I love Christmas movies!  Elf is one of my absolute favorites, so when I saw the Christmas Means More stamp set in the Mini Catalog, I knew I had to have it.  The sentiments are from some of your most beloved Christmas movies...and they are awesome.
I used the Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper to create the winter village scene on the front of the card.  The coordinating colors of poppy parade, misty moonlight and old olive are so very Christmasy.  This card reminds me of Santa's village with a little bit of Elf'ness thrown inside.
Make sure to check out the Elf Movie Trailer and maybe the movie Elf for a fun holiday time.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 9th when our theme is “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” The Design Team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
