Going Places...PPA281

On this card I used the new, upcoming, fantastic Going Places 6 x 6 inch Design Series Paper Pack.  This was on my must have list for my preorder from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. I played along with the Pals Paper Arts Challenge 281.  This was such a fun sketch, you too can play along or check out all of the great ideas here :)
I also used the stamp set titled The Open Sea for the front of this card.  Then for the inside sentiment I used the FREE sale-a-bration stamp set titled Sky Is The Limit and punched it out using the Banner Triple Punch.  The background is embossed with the World Travelor Embossing Folder.
You can begin ordering from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog on January 5th!!!  Contact me today to get your very own Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  Make your wish list and be sure to check it over and add any of these fun items from this project below...

Baptism Blessings...

For today's card I used a pretty cross design paper to make this Baptism card.  Then I used pool party and basic gray card stock from Stampin' Up! and added this cross sticker for the focal point.  The sentiment is punched out using the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch from Stampin' Up!  Baptisms are always a time for blessings :)

Grand Vacations Achievers December Blog Hop...Bring On The Bling!

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for December. This month our theme is "Bring On The Bling". We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog, Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity.

For this card I used the Stamp Set Bloomin' Love and matching Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Dies from the upcoming Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up!  The heart is cut out using the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit and it is really blingy, this picture does not do this glimmer paper justice.  The design series paper is from the Love Blossoms DS Paper Stack and I sponged some Blushing Bride ink on it to give it a little more texture.  The sentiment is punched using the Word Window Punch and layered over the largest Bitty Banner Framelit.  With the Silver Foil Paper and the Blushing Bride Stitched Ribbon, this is such a sweet Valentine's Day card for that special someone :)

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Grateful Bunch for Global Design Project 016

I made this fun card using the new upcoming stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog called Grateful Bunch and the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch!  The inspiration comes from the Global Design Project 016 Case The Designer.  I absolutely love the card that Bibi designed for this challenge.
I took inspiration from the colors of Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Gold.  I embossed the leaves in gold and the flowers on lost lagoon.  The sentiment is punched using the scallop oval and layered over the extra large oval punch.  I love how this stamp set works so great with the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack that you can earn for FREE when you spend $50 during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration starting January 5th.  Contact me today to get your very own Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs.

The Sky's The Limit for PPA280

For this card I used a fun new Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! called Sky Is The Limit, that you can earn exclusively during Sale-A-Bration beginning January 5th with a $50 order.  I love how Mint Macaron and Basic Black card stock work well together with this fun airplane.
I played along with the Paper Pals Arts 280 Sketch Challenge and I am loving how this card turned out.  The cloud paper is the new Shine On Specialty DS Paper that will be available on January 5th from the upcoming Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up!  If you haven't received your Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs yet, contact me and I will gladly get you one for FREE!

Christmas Spirits!

For this card I used Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow card stock from Stampin' Up!  I love how nicely these colors pair with the wine stickers I used.  For the sentiment I printed it out and punched it out using the word window punch and layered it over the modern label punch (retired).  The ribbon is blackberry bliss and is currently on the clearance rack at a discounted price of $3.59.  Make sure to check out the year end clearance sale at Stampin' Up! for up to 60% off select items.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Global Design Project 015...Let's Celebrate!

For today's card I made a Gingerbread Christmas Card to celebrate the season with the classic red and green colors for the #GDP015 Challenge.
How cute are these gingerbread people?  I am also loving the Cherry Cobbler striped ribbon.  Make sure to stock up on both cherry cobbler and garden green striped ribbon before it retires.
You can also play along at the Global Design Project or check out all of the fun projects for yourself :)

For today's card I am showcasing a beautifully done card from one of my dear friends Jeanie Jorgensen!  She made such a wonderful card using the embellished ornaments bundle along with some silver foil paper and pool party card stock.  I just love the how wintery this card turned out :)

A Nice Cuppa for GDP 014

This card is a sneak peak from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog of the stamp set called A Nice Cuppa along with the Cups & Kettles Framelits Dies.  The colors are Basic Gray and Bermuda Bay.  The tea pot paper is from the Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack that will be available on January 5 from the Occasions Catalog.  I love how the heart and tea bag can be cut out with the coordinating framelits.
For the layout I played along with the Global Design Project #014.  The tea cup is embossed with the new Confetti Textured Embossing Folder from the upcoming Occasions Catalog.  And I used some basic gray twine for the tea bag string.  It turned out just too cute!  Here is the sketch to play along with...

Something To Wine About...

I love the colors on this card matching the design paper with all the roses.  My favorite color of rose is red, but a close second is yellow.  Cherry cobbler and mossy meadow card stock blended so nicely with these glasses of wine.  I thought the large oval punch layered over the extra large oval punch gives it a bit of a different style too.  I don't think anyone will wine about receiving this card :)  Be sure to stop by the vendor and craft sale today at Resurrection Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, MN to get your cards stocked up.

Calling All Heroes For PPA278

For today's card I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and made a card worthy of Gotham City using the retiring stamp set Calling All Heroes from Stampin' Up! for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 278

The color trio was Cucumber Crush, Real Red and Crumb Cake, so I went non-traditional with this card, hope you like it :)
I love how the city backdrop gives you that superhero feeling along with the mask and the word window stamp.  I also used the softly falling embossing folder and lightly brushed whisper white to give it some super hero snow!

Check out all of the fun projects at the PPA278 Challenge or play along with the challenge yourself.
