Balloon Adventures for #GDP080

Today I played along with the Global Design Project #GDP080.  This week we are casing the FABULOUS Louise Sharp. Louise is one of the co-creators of the Global Design Project and I am super excited to case her beautiful card.

Remember that when you CASE a project you can Copy And Selectively Edit - so take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the flowers, whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.
I chose to use the subtle colors of soft sky, blushing bride and sahara sand as my card CASE this week. These colors blend so nicely in the Falling In Love design series paper.
  • The sentiment comes from the Balloon Adventures stamp set and was stamped in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed using some blushing bride embossing powder (retired).
  • I die cut the ds paper with the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  Then, I also dies cut the balloon in silver foil paper using them as well.
  • I used the foam adhesive strips to pop up the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate Silver paper and then added some multicolored sequins to shake it up a bit!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Here are all the Stampin' Up! items I used on today's card.

Don't miss out on the FREE Sale-A-Bration Items only available until Friday, March 31.  You get to choose one item for every $50 you spend in my store.  Make sure to get your favorite items now.

Vertical Greetings!

For today's project I used the stamp set called Vertical Greetings along with some fun Stampin' Up! design series paper called Bloom & Bliss.  I love how vibrant the colors in this paper are and how they all work together.  The sentiment is die cut using the Bunch of Banners Framelits and I found that almost all of the sentiments in this stamp set fit perfectly with these framelits.  The colors I chose for this project are Island Indigo, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron.

It is going to be so hard to say goodbye to the 2015-2017 In Colors of Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron.  They will officially retire on May 31, 2017, but items are usually out of stock well before the retirement date as they are only available while supplies last.  Make sure to stock up on your favorites today, click any one of the colors below to shop for these items.

You also don't want to miss these last few days of Sale-A-Bration!  That's right - NO LIMITS! for every $50 you spend at my store, you will get to choose a free item during check out.  This is a great time of year to stock up on product, and get some goodies on the side!

    Thailand Achievers March Blog Hop

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for March 2017. This month our theme is the "Last Call for Sale-A-Bration". Did you know that Sale-A-Bration finishes at the end of this month??

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
NOW is the time to make sure you have collected all the wonderful Sale-A-Bration products for FREE that won't be available after this month.  I used the Reverse Words stamp set and the Inside the Lines Design Series Paper, both items you can choose for free with you $50 order until March 31 during Sale-A-Bration.
This paper is so versatile and so much fun.  I used my clear wink of stella for some added glimmer on the flowers.  The sentiment is embossed in copper and then I outlined the hooray with the clear wink of stella as well.  Emerald Envy and Copper are such a great color combo for this fun project.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

    Sending Thoughts for #GDP079

Today I played along with the Global Design Project #GDP079.  This week I had a blast with the theme of Amusement Park!  So many different ideas that you can get from this theme too. Can you think of childhood memories? The food, the rides, the characters that are dressed up?  For me it was always the Carousel Horses, I loved pretending I was riding these fabulous horses of so many pretty colors.
Head over to the Global Design Project Challenge and plan to play along and see all of the fun projects.
I chose these colors from the Cupcakes and Carousels Design Series Paper Stack.  It is such a fun and pretty paper.  I fussy cut out three of the carousel horses from the design paper and adhered little bows to each one with a glue dot.

The sentiment comes from the Sending Thoughts stamp set and was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Peekaboo Peach card stock and dies cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Oval and layered over the scalloped early espresso card stock cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

In order to get all three of my carousel horses on my card it is a 5" by 5" card base.  I added a few enamel shapes here and there for a finishing touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Here are all the Stampin' Up! items I used on today's card.

    Sunshine Wishes For #GDP078

Today I played along with the Global Design Project #GDP078.  This week's sketch challenges was so fun!  So technically I didn't stamp anything, but using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits made a perfect layout for this sketch!
Head over to the Global Design Project Challenge and plan to play along and see all of the fun projects.

The color trio for this card came from the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper.  It is such a soft and pretty paper.  I also used the Falling Petals Embossing Folder for added texture in the background.  Both of these items are available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog.  Do you need a copy of the catalog, just click HERE to request your very own filled with lots of fun projects!
