Winter Woods for WWYS187

Today I played along with the weekly challenge called What Will You Stamp - WWYS187.  Each week they choose a stamp set that you can use to play along with their challenge.  Have fun and play along this week.
I used the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder on a piece of Nature's Poem DS Paper and then sponged some Cajun Craze ink over it for added texture for the background.  Then I used my Cajun Craze Blend marker on some vellum and punched out the leaves using the leaf punch.
The woods scene is set up with three sets of the trees stamped in Cajun Craze.  The sentiment is die cut using the layering ovals framelits with the scallop framelit for the layer behind.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share the joy of stamping with you.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for today's project:

Half Full for GDP157

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP157.  This week's color challenge is a beautiful mix of Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron & Grapefruit Grove.  Have fun and play along too:
For this color challenge I used the stamp set called Half Full.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets in the annual catalog, designed by a fellow demonstrator.  It could also be that I happen to like a glass of wine here and there too!
I used the Tin Tile embossing folder and added some Blackberry Bliss using my sponge dauber.  The wine glasses are fussy cut out and popped up using a few mini dimensionals.  The finishing touch is that sweet ribbon from the Tea Room Combo Pack!

September Alaska Achievers Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our September Alaskan Achievers blog hop. Those hopping today are Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive trip. We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up!® products. I live in Minnesota in the US and would love to help you if you have any questions.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the fun. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity.  Our hop theme in September is the 2018 Holiday Catalog.
This card is a sample using products from the Holiday catalog.  One of my favorite stamp sets in the catalog is called Flourish Filigree.  I embossed the larger image in copper onto vellum using versa mark and my heat tool.
The design series paper layer is from the Joyous Noel DS Paper.  I added some Merry Merlot Copper ribbon; I love how shimmery this ribbon is.  It is really hard to tell how luxurious it is in the picture.  I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink and then clear heat embossed it.  As a finishing touch I swooshed some clear wink of stella over the sentiment.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss.  Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next.

Fun With Kits!

I made a few cards for Christmas using one of my Paper Pumpkin kits.  You can easily turn these kits into different projects or use them exactly as they are set up.  The fun with kits is that you are already headed in a creative direction and can put your own twist on it as well.  With Paper Pumpkin you can order it month to month or get a prepaid subscription.  This is a perfect gift as well for that crafter in your life.

Treat Time For #GDP156

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP156This week, we are CASEing a pretty project by one of the talented team members Kerstin Kreis from Germany.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit.

Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the theme, the images - whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.  Here is the project this week that you can CASE:
I used the treat time stamp set and framelits to make this fun card CASE.  The colors are Poppy Parade, Gray Granite and Whisper White.  The background design series paper comes from the Festive Farmhouse DSP from the Holiday Catalog.  I ran it through the Subtle Embossing Folder for added texture which you can see close up in the picture below.

Waterfront for WWYS186

Today I played along with the weekly challenge called What Will You Stamp - WWYS186.  Each week they choose a stamp set that you can use to play along with their challenge.  Have fun and play along this week.
I love this stamp set and the fact that it was designed by a fellow demonstrator as well.  It is so fun and versatile to use.
I put together the beach scene and popped up the sun for added dimension.  The background is stamped using the Timeless Textures stamp set and then embossed using the seaside embossing folder.  The sentiment is punched out using the Classic Label Punch.  I added a few glitter enamel dots here and there as a finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share the joy of stamping with you.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for today's project:
