Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge 049. The color challenge this week was pretty fun! My card turned out so pretty using the Bloomin' Love and Flourish Thinlits dies. Check out all of this week's projects or play along:
Card Details:
- I stamped the banner stamp from the Bloomin' Love stamp set onto daffodil delight card stock in flirty flamingo ink. I fussy cut out the banner using my paper snips.
- For the sentiment I stamped it from the Bloomin' Love stamp set onto flirty flamingo card stock in flirty flamingo ink. Then I punched it out using the retired word window punch and layered it over the daffodil banner using stampin' dimensionals.
- Then I made the heart in flirty flamingo with the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits and the flowers in daffodil delight. The leaves are made from the Flourish Thinlits in old olive.
I cannot tell you how clean the thinlits cut out when you use the precision base plate with your big shot. Here is a close up of the die cuts.
I finished the card with a little bling using the rhinestone basic jewels.
