Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge 047. The theme challenge this week is Nautical. My project therefore had to include a sailor's knot. Check out all of this week's projects or play along:
Card Details:
- I stamped the anchor stamp from the Guy Greetings stamp set onto the By The Shore Design Series Paper in dapper denim ink. I cut out the anchor using the Layering Square Framelits and layered it over the scallop and then the square in calypso coral and dapper denim using stampin' dimensionals.
- For the sentiment I stamped it from the Happy Happenings stamp set onto the By The Shore DS Paper in dapper denim ink. Then I punched it out twice using the Best Badge Punch and layered it over a darker piece from the By The Shore DSP punched out by the Best Badge Punch.
- Then I made three sailor knots using the whisper white solid baker's twine and attached them to the dapper denim card stock that was embossed with the seaside embossing folder
