I used one of the prettiest stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog called Southern Serenade! When I saw this stamp set in the catalog I knew I could make wonderful cards with it. I had so much fun with this project that I decorated it both inside and out!
I stamped the center flower on vellum in basic black and then flipped it over and attached it to the Wisteria Wonder card stock with the black stamped side down. Then I used my markers to add the colors to the flower on the front of the vellum. I also used my markers to color coordinate the Petal Passion Design Series paper for the background.
I love the look of the lace stamp that comes in this set. I stamped it first on scratch paper then added it to the inside for a light lace background under the sentiment. A few circle punches along with the Starburst punch and voila', a beautifully layered sentiment!
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next.
