OnStage Highlights!
The Stampin’ Up! On-Stage event will be held this weekend at various venues through the world. I am not able to attend, but highlights will include rewards and recognition, new product reveals and a chance to pre-order from the Occasions Catalog (as well as earn Sale-A-Bration freebies). The customer sale period for both begins Jan. 3, 2020.
Stampin’ Up! does a wonderful job honoring demonstrators with recognition and rewards. I’m so grateful to my customers, team and stamping friends. I ended up being #64 overall globally (that’s the whole wide world of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators)!

Stampin' Pretty Pals November Blog Hop
For this card I used some of my absolute favorite design series paper from the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog called Let It Snow! It is so much fun and glittery with snowmen, hats, mittens and the lot. I added some special embellishments from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit, that comes with felt hats, gloves and scarves; along with the fixings to make your snowman stand out with coal buttons and carrot noses.
The sentiment comes from the stamp set called Rustic Retreat and is stamped in Silver Shimmer Delicata ink and punched out using the Pretty Label Punch. I also used the Stylish Scroll embossing folder on the black layer and then added some Silver Shimmer Delicata ink to that as well. Layering is one of my favorite ways to give your card dimension.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 11th, for our Retirement Fun Fold Party when our Design Team showcase projects using retiring products from the Holiday Catalog with a fun fold card. Don’t miss the fun!

Sad News – Purple Posy Ink to be Discontinued from Stampin' Up!
Please be sure to read why it is being discontinued. Even though I'm sad to see this go, I love that SU will not keep a product on the market that doesn't meet their quality standards. There's also info here on what to do if you suspect your Purple Posy ink is defective.
{From Stampin Up 11/5/2019}
Despite our efforts to resolve issues with Purple Posy ink, we have learned that the ink color is still shifting over time. This means that the color is coordinating more loosely than we typically allow with our colors. Due to these ongoing challenges, we have decided to discontinue Purple Posy classic ink. As of November 5, 2019, the following items will no longer be available to purchase:
- Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Pad (item 150084)
- Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill (item 150091)
- 2019–2021 In Color Classic Stampin’ Pad Assortment (item 150087)
We are unable to replace Purple Posy ink pads for customers or demonstrators who have already received them. However, anyone with concerns regarding the color shifting properties of their Purple Posy ink pads may contact Demonstrator Support 1-800-STAMPUP and we can offer a $7.50 coupon code as compensation. The coupon codes will expire on January 1, 2020.
All of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive ink colors are run through a vigorous series of tests to get ahead of challenges like this, and to ensure colors are accurate and meet our standards of coordination. Purple Posy did pass regular testing standards in time-simulating ovens, but we have now identified that it fell short when it came to actual time passing. The color begins to shift once the ink has rested in the ink pad for about six weeks.
It is rare for Stampin’ Up! or our ink manufacturer to have such persistent issues with ink; Purple Posy has certainly been an anomaly. We completed full testing on 11 distinct batches of Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Ink before releasing the current version. We are now confident that no additional efforts would uphold our coordination needs over time. We appreciate your patience as we have worked through this manufacturing difficulty and regret that we are unable to share better news.
We are dedicated to serving you the best we can, even in situations like this. We have a full line of fantastic colors and products that we offer that contribute to beautiful crafting and superb coordination. We continue to be committed to offering color coordination across all our product lines.
