Something To Say About GDP31!

For this card I played along with the Global Design Project 31 Nature Theme Challenge.  I found these pretty flying duck stickers and knew they would make a great guy's birthday card.  The ducks are punched out using the 1 3/4 inch circle punch and layered over the 2 inch circle punch from Stampin' Up!  The sentiment comes from the Something To Say stamp set and is punched out using the word window punch and layered over the washi label punch.

Now here is a fun tip:  I took the whisper white bakers twine, taped it down on each end to a white piece of paper, and colored it with my always artichoke ink pad using my sponge dauber.  Once it was dry I place it on the card behind the sentiment.  If you want baker's twine to match your color, just use the ink pad and sponge dauber!

Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used on this card:

Vintage Petals for PPA295!

This card comes from the color inspiration from Michelle Quinno of the Pals Paper Arts Challenge 295.  I mixed and matched the Petite Petals Stamp Set and the First Sight Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!  I love the vintage feel of the background leaves and the petite petals flowers.  The sentiment is from the First Sight Stamp Set.  I used linen thread for the bow under the sentiment, then added the small pearls to the center of the flowers that were punched using the petite petal punch.

Grateful Bunch of Mojo Monday!

For this card I played along with the Mojo Monday 442 Sketch.  This was such a fun sketch to play along with and I loved how the flower turned out for the centerpiece of this card.  I added Stampin' Dimensionals to give it that great 3D pop.  I used the Grateful Bunch Photopolymer Stamp Set with the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch.  You can get this great matching set in a bundle and save 15%.  Check out all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for this project.

Be sure to head over to the Mojo Monday blog and see all of the creative projects or play along and submit your own.

Bundle & Save for Global Design Project 30!

Today's card is a sketch from the Global Design Project Challenge #30.  Here is what I came up with today.  Mint Macaron and Hello Honey card stock work together for such a fun spring mix with this design series paper.  I added a few tiny flowers from the itty bitty accents punch pack and the sentiment is from the host stamp set Floral Wings.  It is punched out using the scallop oval punch and layered over the extra large oval punch.  The butterfly is from the bold butterfly framelits.
Head over to the Global Design Project and play along or view all of the wonderful projects that are on display.  Just click on the sketch below.
