Seasons Greetings for GDP013

Today's card features the color trio from the Global Design Project 013 Challenge of Real Red, Old Olive and Crumb Cake.  I have just a little bit of Crumb Cake as some of the snowflakes on the design series paper.

The sentiment comes from a retired stamp set called Versatile Christmas and has the corners punched with the ticket corner punch which is also retired.  The little penguins are stickers that matched this Jolly Holiday card just right with their red glimmer hats and cute little rhinestone puffs.

Such A Classic!

I found this classic card design series paper and then this fun classic car stamp and knew that they would make a great combo.  I used Night of Navy and Basic Gray card stock along with the Word Window punch for the sentiment.  I had fun changing gears from Christmas card making to this fun card.

Delicate Ornaments for Mojo Monday 425

Today I played along with the Mojo Monday 425 Sketch.  It was a bit of a challenging sketch for me so I tweaked some of the placement, but I think it turned out okay.  Here is the finished product...

Peace And Joy For GDP012

For the Global Design Project 012 today it is case the designer.  This week's designer just happens to be one of my glittering pals, Brian King, who came up with a great card!

 

For my card I used the red, blue and white colors along with the Christmas theme.  And here is what I came up with...

I layered these dazzling snowflake stickers over some real red doilies with this pretty ds paper.  May you have peace and joy this Holiday season.

Winter Wonderland For Mojo Monday 424

For today's card creation I played along with the Mojo Monday 424 Sketch.  I love the Wonderland stamp set from the Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up! and paired it with the Home For Christmas DS Paper.  The color trio is pacific point, real red and mossy meadow.

Fancy Foil For GDP #011

For today's card I am using the Holiday Fancy Foil Designer Vellum from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  I also snuck in some red foil sheet circles too.  Both of these papers will be retiring after January 4th so be sure to get yours today.  They are only available while supplies last!

Six Sayings from a Pal!

Today's card is a share from a Pal of mine who is also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I just received this card in the mail yesterday from Frenchie and knew I had to show it off.  It is so beautiful, she is such a talented stamper :)

Petite Petals for PPA275

This was such a fun color trio for the Pals Paper Arts 275 Challenge this week!  Here are the colors fro the challenge this week.

And here is the card I came up with.  I just received the Hello You Thinlits as a prize from my wonderful upline Mary Fish and I had to use them in a card.  The new precision base plate from Stampin' Up! works great with these detailed thinlits, they just pop right out with super ease.  The petite petals stamp set and coordinating punch make such cute flower accents on this card.  I added three teeny pearls to each flower center as well.

For this Thanksgiving card I used the stamp set For All Things along with the Into The Woods design series paper and some of the Into the Woods wooden elements.  The colors are tangelo twist, early espresso and hello honey.

Reason For The Season...Mojo Monday 423

Here is the sketch from Mojo Monday 423 that I followed along with today.  This card uses the Reason For The Season and A Little Something stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog.  Make sure to get your favorite holiday stamp set before it retires.  Here is my card using garden green and cherry cobbler along with the new basic black archival stamp pad, which I LOVE!!!!

 

Global Design Project #GDP010

Today I played along with the Global Design Project 010 sketch challenge.  It was a really fun sketch.

And here is the card I came up with.  I love embossing the gold foil sheets.  The sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set from Stampin' Up!  Gold and Pear Pizzazz work together so nicely with this funky wedding cake sticker.  I also used the winter wonderland vellum stack.  Check out all the products I used below.

All Bundled Up!

 

This cute little guy is all bundled up and ready for winter.  For this card I used cherry cobbler, chocolate chip and soft suede card stock along with the into the woods wooden acorn elements.  The sentiment is punched out using the large oval punch and layered over the scallop oval punch.

Mitten Builder Throwback Thursday...PPA274

For the Pals Paper Arts 274 Color Challenge I used the mitten builder punch and make a mitten stamp set for my Throwback Thursday card since both of these items are retired.  I also broke open one of my favorite retired design series paper call sweater weather because it matched the mittens so wonderfully.  Here is the color challenge:

And here is my card :)  I stamped the border of the hearts in chocolate chip on some very vanilla cotton ribbon for that soft look.  I sponged chocolate chip on the mitten cuffs and added some thick bakers twine to hold the mittens together so one doesn't get lost.  The sentiment comes from the Acorny Thank You stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  I love how this fun fall card turned out!



Sparkly Seasons...Mojo Monday 422

This was such a pretty card to make following the sketch over at Mojo Monday!  I love how it turned out using the sparkly seasons photopolymer stamp set and seasonal framelits bundle from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

I used pink pirouette, whisper white, and rose red card stock along with a silver foil sheet and metallic doily.  I ran the silver foil sheet in a snowflake folder through my big shot to give it those snowflake impressions.  The ballerina is embossed in silver and die cut out.  Talk about pretty in pink :)  Check out all the supplies below.
