March Pals Blog Hop: Spring Has Sprung!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for March 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring Spring and Spring related projects. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
For the Pals Spring Has Spring blog hop today I am showcasing the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set that you can earn for free with your $50 order until March 31, 2016.  The little chick was stamped on daffodil delight card stock in crushed curry and then I snipped him out and popped him onto the cherry on top designer paper stack balloon paper using some dimensionals.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in bermuda bay onto pool party cardstock and punched out using the word window punch.  I love the color palette of the cherry on top dsp, it just reminds me of all the colors of spring coming to life again after our long winter in Minnesota!  Crushed curry, watermelon wonder, cucumber crush, bermuda bay, and pool party  card stock make such a fun blend on this card.  I added a few clouds stamped in bermuda bay on the inside pool party sheet for the background of this Z-Fold card.
Here is a picture of the card from the top.  This is a standard card, I cut an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet in half at 5 1/2 inches and folded it at 4 1/4 inches, then on the front of the card I scored it at 2 1/8 inch and folded at the score backwards to give the front a Z look to it.  Then I added the front 3 1/2 by 4 inch square with the chick on the front.

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

  6. So cute, Jennifer. I love the bright, colorful palette and the fold adds another layer of fun. Great alternative to all the pastels used this time of year.
