Today I played along with the Mojo Monday 478. It was a fun sketch challenge this week from Julee Tilman. Plan to play along and head over to the Mojo Monday and see all of the fun projects.
I decided to focus on one of the new stamp sets from the upcoming Occasions Catalog called Birthday Blast! This stamp set coordinates with the Star Blast Edgelits Dies.
Project Details:
- I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Blast stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on Whisper White card stock. Then punched it out using the duet banner punch. I then layered the sentiment over Daffodil Delight that was also punched out using the duet banner punch with some stampin' dimensionals.
- I cut out the spray of stares using the the star blast edgelit in Melon Mambo using the magnetic platform with my big shot.
- The layered design series paper background comes from the retired It's My Party Design Series Paper Stack and is layered over Daffodil Delight Card Stock.
- I finished the card with some retired Basic Black ribbon and added a some basic black sequins as a final touch.
