Lovely Friends for #tttc004

Today I played along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  Make sure to head over and play along!  For this weeks challenge, the board was created by Design Team member Jeanie Stark.  Take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what you are challenged you to create!

I used the Blue, Embossing and Happy down the center row on the board.  The embossed foil paper comes from the Foil Frenzy Specialty Design Series Paper in Soft Sky.  I stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate on Soft Sky Cardstock from the Lovely Friends Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!
I layered the stamped sentiment square over a piece of Basic Gray Cardstock to make it stand out more over the foil ds paper on the card base.  I added some Stampin' Dimensionals for texture and sprinkled a few rhinestones over the stamped leaves in the corners for some bling.  And the saying couldn't be more true of the person that will be receiving this card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Background Bits For #GDP093

I am loving the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP093 color challenge this week.  My friend Stesha is the Guest Designer this week as she won the color challenge last month.  Check out her talented work HERE.

To play along, head over to the Global Design Project and see what the design team came up with this week.
I used one of my favorite stamp sets called Background Bits for this card.  You can earn this Stamp Set with your order of $150 or more when you spend your Host Rewards on it.
I stamped three of the background lines onto the Berry Burst side of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  Then I just added some Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon.  The sentiment is die cut using the Lovely Words Thinlits and layered over the Layering Circles Framelit in Pool Party card stock.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for this card.

Oh So Eclectic for #tttc003

Today I played along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  This is the third week of this brand new challenge so make sure to head over and play along!
For this weeks challenge, the board was created by Design Team member Shannon Jaramillo.  Take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what you are challenged you to create!

I used the Blue, Yellow, One Layer row on the left of the board.  The flower and sentiment comes from the stamp set called Oh So Eclectic.  I CASE'd the card using this stamp set on the front of the Annual  Catalog.
I kept it simple with one layer on the card base and made three 3" x 3" cards.  I added some of those yummy Glitter Enamel Dots for added texture.  I swooshed a little bit of the Clear Wink of Stella on the center of each flower as well.

Thanks for stopping by today, here are all of the items I used for this card:

Jar of Flowers for #GDP092

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP092.  This week we are CASEing the oh-so talented Steffi Helmschrott.  Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the flowers, whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.

Here is the project this week that you can CASE. To play along, head over to the Global Design Project and see what the design team came up with this week.
I took my CASEing inspiration from the Jar of Love Stamp Set and the flowers from this card.  I also used the Petal Garden Memories & More Card Pack.  This is a new product from Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog and it makes creating a snap!  The colors in each card pack are so vibrant and rich, I love them :)

I stamped a few flowers in Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride over the Old Olive stems in the jar.  Then I just added some pearls to the flower centers and some random Glitter Enamel Dots.  They are super cool embellishments to add some bling for any project.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for this card.

Thailand Achievers June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for June 2017. This month our theme is "Our Annual Catalog Favorites".  The new Annual Catalog is incredible!  We want to give you some more ideas on how you can make the most of all your wonderful new products or to show you how to use ones that you haven't purchased as yet.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity .
I used two of my favorite colors on this #10 size Tea Party Invitation.  One of the first colors I bought from Stampin' Up! was Rich Razzleberry.  I used it on every card I made and mixed it with every other color.  I was in love with Rich Razzleberry!
Today I am mixing it with another color I am totally loving called Tranquil Tide.  This is one of the newest In Colors in the Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up!  And just like Rich Razzleberry I want to use it on every one of my cards now :)
When you get your new catalog, you page through it about a hundred times while making your list and checking it twice, or thrice!  One of my must have new items was the Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper.  You can color it in any way you want.  It comes with 6 designs and when I saw the teapots, I knew exactly what I was going to use them for.
Check out the "Sip & See" Tea Party invitation I created.  It was such a fun idea and worked out wonderfully.
Supply list for this invitation card:
  • Just Add Color DS Paper
  • Tranquil Tide Cardstock
  • Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
  • Decorative Ribbon Border Punch
  • Clear Wink of Stella
  • Basic Pack 1 Washi Tape
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
  • Many Marvelous Markers
  • # 10 Envelopes
  • Background Bits Stamp Set
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity , so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Birthday Delivery for #tttc002

Today I played along with the new Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  This is the second week of this brand new challenge so make sure to head over and play along with the Tic Tac Toe challenge!
For this weeks challenge, the board was created by Design Team member Corinne Blake.  Take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what you are challenged you to create!
I used Yellow, Gray, and Birthday, with a little of the wood and embossing thrown in.  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Birthday Delivery.  I also used the wood grain coffee cup stamp from the Coffee Café for the center of the layered square background.

As a background addition I used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder on Smoky Slate card stock and layered it over So Saffron and Basic Gray.
I used a variety of punches to layer behind the sentiment.  First, I punched out two of the Best Badge shapes in Basic Gray and layered them over each other.  Then, I punched out the Pretty Label shape in So Saffron and die cut the sentiment using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Thanks for stopping by today, here are all of the items I used for this card:
