I am loving the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP095 this week. This week we are going to have a blast with the theme of Kids! What comes to your mind when you think of this theme?
We TOTALLY can't wait to see what you come up with. To play along, head over to the Global Design Project and see what the design team came up with this week.
I used one of my favorite design series paper stacks from Stampin' Up! called Just Add Color for this fun interactive card. I made it for a little boy whose birthday is coming up the end of July. He will love pulling out the four little coloring pages and being able to keep them inside his "card".
The Circle Tab Punch made it super easy to create little handles to slide each piece in and out of the plastic sleeves. The Happy Birthday is a die cut from the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die from Stampin' Up!.
This was such a fun Kids Project to make. Here is a picture and a list of all the supplies to make this interactive card.
- Card Base: 6 inch by 12 inch card stock, scored at 6 inches
- Two pieces of ribbon 24 inches each
- Four punched circle tabs
- One Die Cut Happy Birthday Thinlits
- Four 4-3/4 inch by 4 inch pieces of Just Add Color Design Series Paper
- Four 4-1/4 inch by 5-1/2 inch pieces of card stock
- One piece of 5 inch by 5 inch ds paper for front of card
- One piece of 5-1/2 inch by 5-1/2 inch card stock for front of card
- Four clear plastic envelopes 4-1/2 inch by 7-1/4 to flap end, then cut to 5-1/2 inches on non flap end
- Tear and Tape Adhesive
