April Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop

These five colors are retiring as the 2016-2018 In Colors, but Flirty Flamingo is moving into the Brights Collection in June.  So it is Bon Voyage to Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Peekabo Peach.

I made 10 note cards in two each of the colors using the Small Whisper White Memories & More Cards and Envelope Set that will be available in the upcoming annual catalog from Stampin' Up!  The small set come in 3 x 4 inches size and then the large set measures 4 x 6 inches.

I showcase these colors by using the word Friend from the Lovely Words Thinlits Dies, also a retiring item, cut out in Whisper White.  The sentiment is popped up using dimensionals and layered over the background ds paper.

Painted Glass for GDP134

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP134.  This week it's time for a fabulous sketch challenge!  Here is the sketch so you can play along too:

I used the Painted Glass Stamp Set and coordinating Stained Glass Thinlits Dies that are brand new items available in the upcoming Stampin' Up! annual catalog in June.  The colors are Lovely Lipstick (New 18-20 In Color), Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White.  

I also used the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum and my Stampin' Blend markers for added color to give it the stained glass look.  The sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick and punched out using the Pretty Label Punch.  Thanks for stopping by and letting me share the joy of stamping with you.

Alaska Achievers April Blog Hop

Here are some of the fun pictures of me attending the OnStage event in Milwaukee with my stamping friends.  In the last picture, I also a had a once in a lifetime chance to get a picture with Shelly Gardner!  She was so gracious, it made my day :)

There is inspiration, information and fun at OnStage!  We also get to make some projects with new products before we can even buy them.  Here is a project I made using the new Statement of the Heart Stamp Set and some new Share What You Love DS Paper.

The sentiment is stamped in the one of the new In Colors called Lovely Lipstick...it truly is lovely!!!  These colors are so fun and bright and will be available in the upcoming annual catalog in June.
