Welcome to the Pals September, 2018 Blog Hop. The 2018 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! is out and the Pals are excited! Sit back while we share creations from “Our Favorite Holiday”. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
One of my favorite Holidays is also considered The Most Wonderful Time of The Year...Christmas!!! I decided to take a stamp set and design three different cards using that same set. That way if you make a set of 10 of each card you have pretty much made up the cost of the stamp set and materials purchase.
For these projects I decided to match the All Is Bright Design Series Paper with the Illuminated Christmas Stamp Set. Then I chose three different card stock colors to go with the design series paper. This way I could make three unique cards and use almost all of the stamps in the set.
You can't have Christmas cards without embossing...so I used some copper embossing powder for two of the cards to give them that added bling.
For this card I created my own background design paper using the poinsettia stamp from the set and then used the swirls & curls embossing folder on the shaded spruce piece of design series paper.
Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have created to inspire you. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 10, 2018 for the next Pals Blog Hop. October is time for some wicked fun with “Wicked Folds” where the Pals will show you creations that are anything but a standard card fold. Don’t miss the fun.
