Welcome to the Pals July Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects that are “Mixing It Up” adding texture that will really take your projects up a notch or two! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Here are all of the Stampin' Up! products I used for this card:
For my project today I used a variety of texture techniques. First I embossed a piece of whisper white card stock with the tin tile 3D embossing folder. Then I added a bit of Sahara Sand ink with my sponge dauber to the embossing image on the whisper white. I stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose onto whisper white card stock and then I tore the edges for a vintage look around the sentiment. Then I added some Sahara Sand ink with my sponge dauber for a tarnished look.
A piece of the Woven Threads design series paper was just perfect for placing behind the sentiment and giving it more dimension on the card. I finished the card with some of the rich looking Rococo Rose gathered ribbon and added some gold metallic pearls.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “Special Occasions” projects. Don’t miss the fun!

ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle, I really appreciate you stopping by :)
DeleteSuch a pretty sympathy card, Jennifer! Those are the hardest ones to make. Love that sentiment (the font, especially) and the texture adds so much without taking away from the focal point. Great card!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, thank you for your comment 🙂
