August Greek Isles Blog Hop!

Thank you for joining us for our August Greek Isles Achievers blog hop. Those hopping today are Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive trip. We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin' Up!® products. I live in Minnesota in the US and would love to help you if you have any questions.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity or may have come from the person previous to me in the list.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the fun. At the moment you are visiting Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity.  Our hop theme in August is the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog!
For this card I used the Beauty & Joy Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog that begins on September 4th.  It is such a pretty stamp set that is so versatile and can be used for Thanksgiving, Christmas or even Fall Birthdays.  It is also a distinktive stamp set that gives that added detail in each stamp, see the plant holder and trunk.
It pairs just beautifully with the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DS Paper from the Holiday Catalog.  There are lines of gold mixed into every sheet of plaid in this ds paper, that you just have to see in person!  I layered a sheet of gold foil behind the plaid to bring out those gold tones.
I also added some Shaded Spruce & Gold Striped Ribbon, also from the Holiday Catalog.  For a finishing touch on the plant I stamped some flowers in versamark and used the Shimmer White embossing powder for a little more bling.  Then topped off the flowers with some gold metallic pearls.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss.  Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jennifer Michalski @ Stamping Serenity, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next.
