Pals June 2016 Blog Hop

Pals Blog Hop Theme/Title: Pick a “B”: Birthday, Bride, Baby

We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring projects that are based on “B“ themes such as Birthday, Bride or Baby. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

For this project I used the Detailed Floral Thinlits and the Floral Phrases Stamp Set along with a bunch of other new Stampin' Up! goodies.  Let me tell you how much I love these new thinlits, they are so detailed and delicate, yet they come out almost perfect using the precision base plate with the big shot.  Below is the inside of the card, also using stamps from the Floral Phrases.

Check out all the Stampin' Up! items I used in the carousel below.  Here is the Color Trio I used for today's card:

Island Indigo

Whisper White

Mint Macaron

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

Flourish Thank You!

Today's card features some of the newest items from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  The flowers on the top are from the Flourish Thinlits Dies.  These dies are so pretty and turn out so delicate, but are super easy to remove from the die.  The sentiment is stamped in the new Bermuda Bay Ombre Stamp Pad from the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set.  The Smoky Slate background is textured using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.  I also added a few rhinestones to the flowers.  Here is the color trio:

Whisper White

Bermuda Bay

Smoky Slate

The Ombre stamp pads were on my must have wish list on and come in Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry.  Here are all the Stampin' Up! supplies I used for today's project.  Shop HERE for your favorites today!

Floral Phrases for PPA 303

Today I played along with the Pals Paper Arts 303 Color Challenge.  I used the new Floral Phrases stamp set and Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies for this card.  I also used the Floral Boutique Design Series Paper at the top and sponged mint macaron over the whisper white area to match the color challenge.  These are all new items in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog that began on June 1.  This year's annual catalog has so many fun, new things to play with :)  Be sure to head over to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge and play along or just check out all of the projects.
