Keep on Truckin' for Mojo Monday 495

Today I played along with the Mojo Monday 495 card challenge.  It's a fun sketch challenge this week from Julee Tilman.  Plan to play along and head over to Mojo Monday and see all of the fun projects.

For today's project I used the color trio of Real Red, Basic Black and Smoky Slate.  I changed up the sketch just a bit to fit with my sentiment layout.  The Basic Black Archival Stamp Pad makes such nice crisp stamped images on the Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock.

The sentiment is stamped in Whisper White and layered using the Lots of Labels Framelits.  I used the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder for the Smoky Slate strip under the layered sentiment.  I added a few Rhinestones for the fog lights on the top of the truck.

Flourishing Flower Shop for #GDP085

Today I participated in the Global Design Project Color Challenge #GDP085.  This week's color challenge was to select your favorite 3 retiring In Colors...well it was really difficult to pick just three.  I decided to use the Affectionately Yours Design Series Paper as my color inspiration.  Here is the Global Design Project color challenge for this week. 

I decide to focus on Mint Macaron and Cucumber Crush with just a hint of Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog for the Mint Macaron Copper embossed flowers.  Then I added the sentiment and the Cucumber Crush leaves from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and Thinlits Dies.  This is such a versatile stamp set with a wide array of sentiments.

This card come from One Happy Chic who hails from Oklahoma!  Such intricate details on her cards make them so special.
