Pals July Blog Hop - Pattern Party!

Welcome to the Pals July, 2018 Blog Hop. We’re having a “Pattern Party”. This month our creations will feature our favorite Designer Series Papers and coordinating embellishments from the new annual catalog from Stampin’ Up!  You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

It is so hard to choose just one set of design series paper, so why not use three.  These projects were so much fun!  I used Shaded Spruce as my card base for each project, then added some additional colors that matched each design series paper.  I used the stamp set called Abstract Impressions for the sentiments on each card.
This card uses the Garden Impressions Design Series Paper along with one of the Delicate Lace Edgelit Dies.
My second card uses the Tropical Escape Design Series Paper along with a different Delicate Lace Edgelit die.
This third card uses the Under The Mistletoe Design Series Paper and the third Delicate Lace Edgelit die.  I love how you can use the same color card stock for the base of each of these three design series papers.  I added the Shaded Spruce 1/8 inch ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have chosen as their “favorite”. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.

Our theme this month is Travel.  Many demonstrators around the world will be heading to Alaska for the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip in July. This is a great time to celebrate by creating cards inspired by travel.
I have a friend from where I grew up in MN who has her very own travel blog.  So, this card is perfect to send to her to encourage her in her travels and sharing of all of her adventures.  You can check out her travel adventures HERE
I used the stamp set called All The Good Things for this fun travel card.  I love the sentiments in this stamp set :)
  • First I stamped the two small fish on the pool party background card stock in Grapefruit Grove ink.
  • Then I added the Graceful Glass vellum piece that I had colored using Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Night of Navy Stampin' Blend markers.
  • Finally I assembled everything onto the Bermuda Bay card stock base for the card.
I also decorated the inside with another sentiment and the rest of the Graceful Glass vellum.  I added a little Grapefruit Grove ribbon for a bit of color as well.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie's blog to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.  Here are all of the products I used for this card:
